The 2025 National Thermoelectricity Days will be organized this year jointly with the GDR Name around nanomaterials for thermoelectricity. These days will be structured around (i) a half-day of thematic training (see below) and (ii) three half-days of thematic oral sessions, 2 poster sessions, invited conferences and the presentation of the prize for the best oral communication and the Coqblin prize rewarding the best thesis on thermoelectricity by the GIS-TE.
The training sessions will take place over a half-day (Tuesday, November 25 afternoon).
- The first course will be devoted to the characterization of network dynamics by Raman spectroscopy.
- The second course will be devoted to thermal diffusivity measurements by flash laser measurement.
During this edition, we will welcome two invited speakers:
- Dr Emmanuel Guilmeau (CRISMAT, Caen) :"Insights into the crystal chemistry of thermoelectric sulfides"
- Dr Olivier Bourgeois (Institut Néel, Grenoble) : "Lab on a Chip for the measurement of Seebeck coefficient in 2D materials"
Deadline for abstract submission: 10/20/2025 11/06/2025
Date of notification of oral presentations: 10/27/2025 11/06/2025
Registration deadline (free but mandatory) for the training (subject to availability) and/or the conference: 10/27/2025
The sessions will take place at two different IUT Blois sites.
Tuesday, November 25: The afternoon training session will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Amphitheater 2 at the IUT Blois chocolate factory (a 5-minute walk from Blois train station).
Wednesday, November 26: The scientific sessions will take place in Amphitheater 2 at the IUT Blois Jean Jaurès site (a 15-minute walk from Blois train station). The Wednesday lunch buffet and Wednesday evening dinner will be provided by the JNTE.
Thursday, November 27: The scientific sessions will take place in Amphitheater 2 at the IUT Blois chocolate factory (a 5-minute walk from Blois train station).
We hope to see many of you at this 2025 edition of the National Thermoelectricity Days!
Sincerely,
The organizing committee
